I wouldn't recommend it as the ARB bumper is not set up for such a device. Furthermore, I have personally handled the part that inserts into the bumper and was less satisfied with them than the Terrafirma version. Price is nice though for sure.
Here's the Terrafirma version next to an ARB D-shackle:

Zack so you saying not to add either to the ARB? I like the Terrafirma ones much more.

Personally I wouldn't. The steel is not amazingly reinforced on the ARB where you'd mount these. Do you have the 99-02 or 03-04 ARB bumper?

It is possible to fit a dixon bates style recovery point, as seen here in this photo I took on a customer's truck.

Nice! You'll enjoy its build quality, uses Genuine parts where available. I was going to add one to my Greg Davis rear bumper, but Greg talked me into getting one with the receiver hitch.

If you have the ability, I would strongly suggest welding a thicker plate of steel around the area you're mounting the dixon bates, as it'll give you much more strength.

I don't know man, that thing is expensive! You can get comparably rated tow jaws in the UK for $65 or less. Seems like a lot of money for a forged lump of steel and a pin. Hell, a 20,000 lb. rated pintle hitch goes for $50. Way over priced and it doesn't even say Land Rover on it.

Right, in the Uk, for $20 less. Then you can wait and pay shipping. Ours is a kit, with Land Rover genuine hardware. It's Dixon Bate, as used in the Camel Trophy.
