ok, will do. I am also changing out all 3 u-joints at the same time, just to be safe.

I've got a problem with my u-joint greasing too. Don't mean to thread jack but why start a new one for a similar question: I don't know if its my grease gun or not, but I pump until there is resistance and grease comes out from around the nipple/gun connection, not the seals. Is this normal? I also had grease coming out from the little vavle on the nipple that eventually stopped when the valve reseated. Did I apply too much grease?

Your nipple (har) is probably worn out. You can get a new package of themat your local autoparts store. Which grease fitting did this occur on?

Worn out nipples, that sounds painful!!!
I do agree though, dirt can get into the nipple and restrict the flow of grease, just change the zerks.
