Default Synthetic Oil, Slightly Leaking

All, Changed the Oil on Saturday, from RP (synthetic 10-30), to Mobile 1 Synthetic (10-30).... noticed I had a few more drips under the hood than normal, which I understand is related to switching off dino juice and going to synthetic..

I bought the rig at 58K, had a dealership oil change, the next change I did myself, flushed with ATF, then put in RP. Now its effectively the second change since synthetic, and 5000K later....

What's been the experience for folks with the amount of time the motors leak after switching to synthetic? Anything I should do differently, or I shoud be expecting?

Where is your oil leaking from exactly, if it is the v/c gaskets, just tighten them and stay with the synthetic oil.
Go power scrub your engine and find the exact scourse of the leak.

1-pick a oil brand and stick with it, switching brands every oil change can cause leaking, the oil seals dont like change.
Each brand of oil has its own seal conditioners and the seals in your engine get used to one kind and they only want that kind.
Thats why we club seals, so they dont leak all over the driveway.
How long it will leak is like asking how long you will live, nobody knows.
My truck leaked for 12,000 miles after I switched to Mobil 1, but it also had 152,change on the odometer.

Dents add character and scratches are like scars, a great story behind everyone.

Agree on not changing oil brands everytime. I had used RP for the first go around, but decided I would just stick with Mobil 1 as its more affordable. I'll keep that one in it from here on out.

I am getting some leakage from the front crank seal. I do keep the motor very clean precisely because it's much easier to see what's happening. I had some seapage on the VC's but tightened down. Hopefully that works.
