Default t/cases questions

I am unable to use my low gear in the transfer case due to some modifications. what is the difference in using the low range on the transmission.

Low range is about 1/5th of the speed and 3x the torque. Generally used for offroading in mud, sand or on rocks and also excellent for very steep inclines with loose or muddy ground. If you're an offroader you defo need a low range.
