Default TAPE INPUT>> DISASTER

So you know those cassete tapes you can hook up to your portable cd or mp3 player..

Well dont use them in your DI..

I put the thing in there, it worked and I was all impressed, like this is cool, now I can listen to my "DeadPod" in the car..
Went to eject it and it just kept making a horrible clicking noise and wouldnt eject the thing..

Radio off.. Still clicking
Car off.. Still clicking

Disconnected the Battery before something really went wrong, that coded the radio and turned it off..
Tried using a small screwdriver to help it out.. No joy..
Probably going to have to remove the head unit to get the thing out of there..

Any suggestions??

Ouch!! I had the same thing happen on my Jag (factory radio) I finally had to remove the radio and take it apart. Maybe someone knows of a better way.....

I've been using that little thing in my DI for like 3 months now. I can't listen to the radio because it sucks so much so when I flooded my CD player off roading I needed to use it. Haven't had any problems yet though.

I would highly recommend putting a line in directly to the stereo through the CD inputs... I used one of those things temporarily and when I switched it was amazing at the difference in quality.
