Ive recently done a 2 inch body lift and the last problem ive got is the outer cable is to tight to sit in the bracket connected to the auto gearbox and the inner cable is to short to be tightened to the autobox selector. ive been told you can get an extension iit but ive searched for hours an got nowhere, any help? pic below

 

You've possibly identified why nobody does a 2" body lift on a D2.

Did you ever get this solved? ...I just purchased a 2004 D2 with a body lift kit and suffering the same issue and also having issues finding a solution :-/

I am currently thinking of trying to "rotate" the keyhole of the bracket.
The only way I can come up with is to cut on the red line and then weld it back together with enough rotation to move the clamping mechanism back towards the cable.
