Default TD5 Engine

Hello Land rover lovers...

here is my story , i recently purchased a td5 engine with all its wiring and ecus , one small problem is the key...
it has an immobilizer system that cannot be bypassed as i've read in the forum.
i want to user the engine in a defender 110...

can anyone help me how to get a key or anyway of bypassing or turning on the engine?

thank you a lot

Did the engine come from a D2? If so, you can use just a plain metal key. There is no chip required. Some markets were set with "passive immobilization" but this works on the keyless door lock remote in the key, and the feature can be turned off in the BCU with the proper computer, nanocom, hawkeye, etc.

Do defenders with td5 even have a BCU?
