Default technical brake line question

im having some extended brake hoses made locally and would like to be able to just give them the dimensions and fitting specifications, so that i can avoid removing a line from the vehicle to bring to them.

can anyone tell me the factory lengths of the front and rear lines, and the fitting designations for both ends? i cant find this info via the google box and im getting frustrated. thanks in advance!

The grand idea here is to replace the shocks, brake lines, and abs wires all at once.

I don't have the info you need, but I am curious what the cost is going to be on the brake lines made locally. And are they going to be steel braided?

Go Stainless +150MM length. That's what I use. I can verify that the back end up being about 24" in length. Front I would assume 6-8 inches longer.

You can look for the BritPart Defender +150mm kit and verify the lengths there.

Here's a question. If you're a real cheap b*stard (I am), could you switch the front brake lines to the rear and just get fronts made? Length would work I think, but are the ends the same?

Could, but my hoses are 13 years and 220,000 miles old.

Yea, mine are around 14 years/150k, too. Still might be a good temporary option for me while I sink some dough into some other necessary bits.

No idea where you are, and what prices are like.
But; my friends and I ride sportbikes, have for many years.
We put ss front lines on all of them.
Average cost is $100-$120 from most aftermarket companies.
However, there is a local company that makes hydraulic lines/hoses, whatever you need.
They charge around $60 a pair for the same thing, and make them on the spot. They are around 2 1/2 ' long each too.
You may want to check with heavy equipment services, and/or hydraulic line makers in your area.
Could likely save you quite a bit.
Whenever I can afford +2" springs and 32's, I'll be bringing them my brake lines.

I used Britpart +50mm fronts on the back of mine in a bind.

I have a spare set of +50mm rears if you need it lol

Yea, I've had lines made before. Its been years though and I didn't remember what the general cost was. I definitely am going to look into it before too long. Gotta get some exhaust put back on her first though.
