Default Terra grappler pics! 255/55/18

I know that I couldn't find enough pics of these 255/55/18 Nitto terra grapplers when I was looking into getting a set, so I took some pics of my new ones. I just got them installed yesterday and YES they are worth every penny of the 800 bucks they cost! Very smooth on the road and VERY good traction off road. I can't slide around in dirt now that my tires aren't bald : ( but overall with ride comfort, highway handling, off road grip, and looks (because they definitely look awesome) I would give these a 9 out of 10. Anywho, enough blabbering... Here's some pics!

The tread looks like it will not glog like the BFG A/t in mud and wet snow. Do you know how many miles these tires go? I have almost 100,000 on my BFG A/Ts. I like the looks of your wheel and tire combo better.

Those are nice! I might have to look into a set of those for my 18s.

You gave them a 9 out of 10, so what was the downside that kept you from rating them at 10?

I believe they're rated for 30,000 miles. That's enough for me! I went flying down a long bumpy dirt road by my house earlier tonight and these things really gripped during hard cornering. I'm pretty tempted to just say they're a 10 out of 10.

Bfg's are meatier tires, these are apparently really good in wet and snowy conditions. I will definitely take a trip to colorado to find out this year...im actually pretty excited to try them in the snow because I lost control in a blizzard with my old tires and it kind of ruined the fun.

Very nice. Those are great tires. BTW those tires destroy the BFGs...

They look great! I plan to upgrade right before winter. I have the crappy factory goodyears.

Keep us posted on the wear.

Just curious, why did you opt for slotted/drilled rotors - just in the rear?

P.S. The tires look filthy!
