Default Terrafirma bead lock question

Does anyone have the Terrafirma bead lock kit on? If so is it worth it?

Check laws in your state before buying!

Why check the laws? Chances are better that the front propshaft flies off and kills a bus full of kids than having a beadlock come off. Don't you work for rovers north?

Some states you can't run bead locks on the road.

I will be adding these in the spring to my set. The nice thing with TF is you can balance the tires with them on.

Like Army said, it's illegal in different states. What does me working for RN have anything to do with it?

You ask, "Is it worth it?", in what respect. For normal thru medium duty trails, NO, if you are talking serious rock crawling then possibly.

You said in another post you work for RN, RN sells the beadlock kits, so I figured you of anyone should know if they are illegal in his state.

Right, well RN sells them for off road use. While many people are running them without issue, it is possible they could be found liable if they self destructed going 100 on the highway. I personally run KM2s which hold a bead like a boss, thus my need for beadlocks is lessened quite a bit.
