terrafirma hid fog lights
Look nice, decent price, hid with ballast and all hardware included... but that got me thinking, will those withstand a good fording or even rainy day? all that high voltage stuff exposed makes me nervous... anyone running these? hows the setup quality? brightness/beam shape?

I have HID bulb upgrades in my headlight low beams and high beams and fog lights. From looking at the picture above. Those are the same China $35 setup you can find on eBay. Not saying the Terrafirma lights are not good. But just letting you all know those are the same ballasts that come from from HID extra.com and Xentec on eBay and else where. Mine have worked fine for 1.5 years now. However I have had to replace a ballasts in a low beam... My 2 cents.
I think when the ballast are internal...such as the Warn lights the price moves to the $500 range.

i havent heard back from terra about them but britishatlantic responded and said they "definatly don't recommend going any submersion with these" in so many words.
guess ill keep shopping! it really is amazing what they are charging for lights, across the board! might be a mod i skip at this point.

These are more expensive but really worth it, I run 3 of these on my front bumper.
