A couple of weeks ago I got the 1412-1415 engine code after having some work done on my Discovery II.


The mechanic who did the work could not figure out what the problem was. The SAI pump and the Solenoid checked out fine.


After searching this forum I decided to check all of the vacuum lines and connections. Turns out that the line from the vacuum canister to the SAI solenoid was cracked inside of the plastic line cover.


I replaced all of the associated vacuum lines, reset the codes, and all is good.
