Default Is there seat trim on the inboard side of the front seats?

Mine only have trim on the outside part of the lower cushions. The inside part (the part that faces the transmission tunnel) look pretty unfinished. Is that correct or is there supposed to be something there?

Spend your time on reliability upgrades, wrong vehicle for performance improvements. Key pm work:

1. Sunroof leak issues - search my post - prevents headliner issues.
2. Coat CPS cover with aluminum foil to prevent CPS failure.
3. Remove door panels and lubricate window regulators to prevent common failures.
4. Lubricate cargo door handle to prevent rust seizing
5. PCV mod to prevent oil leaks
6. Inline thermostat mod to prevent overheating
7. Replace all original cooling system plastic or rubber components to prevent overheating and head gasket job
8. Lubricate door straps to prevent popping
9. Coat rear frame to prevent rust
10. Remove and coat cowl panel with bedliner spray to prevent UV cracking
11. Wax exterior to prevent clearcoat fading
12. Lube front driveshaft and/or replace u-joint to prevent failure
13. Replace shifter boots - make your own with leather and superglue
14. Check idler bearings for wear and replace if necessary
15. Sand and recoat fender flares with bedliner.

Have fun!

Brandon, there is nothing there. Each seat has plastic lower trim on 2 sides: front and the side that is facing the door. I just finished wiring, lower body review. After all of that work, I am contemplating removal of those panels.

That's a great list Extinct and I have printed it as a holy grail of preventative maintenance items. However, I think you meant to post it to this thread.

Post resurrected haha! Well, some obligatory follow-up. Yes, the trim was missing but found the pieces from a donor disco. These were the trims bits I was referring to.

Good follow up. Those would be called hinge covers. My truck was missing the passenger side as well. I got a new one from the dealer and it snaps on half-heartedly, and then falls off whenever it wants to. Frustrating.
