It's worth adding that the highest I have ever seen in my truck is 221° sitting in the middle of Route 95 in Philly on my way to a Phillies game in Aug 2018. We were in stopped traffic waiting for an accident to clear with 5 people in the truck and an ambient of about 98° for a good 15 minutes. AC burning. I'm not going to lie, my sphincter was clenched pretty tight but she weathered the storm without issue. The truck did fine too. ![Wink](https://landroverforums.com/forum/images/smilies/Uh2vXQr.png)
I realize the health of people's cooling system components is the major contributing factor here but my stuff is cobbled together with about the cheapest solutions out there. And I agree, before all these gadgets I'm sure if was completely normal to reach 220-230 in one of these trucks while mom sat watching soccer practice with the air on for a good 45 minutes. 2 or 3 times a week mostly likely, year in and year out with no ill effects.

I'd rather have one in the cluster personally. I have a scangauge, it's fine, but would rather not need it.

I have another board that's calibrated for °C and Bar which I can repurpose for oil pressure and water temp. °C isn't ideal but it's better than nothing.

I've already installed the manifold that allows the OE oil pressure sender to be used so that the oil pressure lamp in the dash still works as a redundant failsafe, and the VDO sender will provide signal for the LED display. Now I just need to figure out where to mount the display itself in the Disco and where to pickup water temp.
