He had my undivided attention until he started talking about a 'little fat mouse'

Cool video - shows how low grade my disco is compared to his.. no suede arm buffer on the door (rough canvas?) and no wood trim Thanks for sharing. Wonder who's leaving mean comments? Why people have to do that is beyond me.

I watched this afew days ago.

He seems pretty new to land rovers and there was some misinformation on that video. And most importantly he forgot to mention the heated windshield which is one of the most unique features on these trucks.

Wait until he discovers the hidden 5th center wheel under the frame!

That's fairly unique.

Rear step. Rear roof ladder.

Rigging for side snorkel.

Tie-down strap hooks.

Overhang roof so that you can crack open your windows without getting wet in the rain.

Bottlejack is curved so that it lifts via axles instead of frame.

Rear seats fold down to give an indoor pickup effect, room-wise.

Headphone jack plugs in rear.

Front and rear cig lighter power points for phone charging.

Additional slide drawer pullout front cup holders under climate control.

One feature I truly find unique is the glove box light. Unlike most glove box lights that simply light up when you open the glove box the D1/D2 Glove box light only works while the sidelight/headlights are turned on, which to me is rather unique. The harmonic balancers on the F/R axles to keep vibrations down are also something you don't see on other 4x4 SUV's.

You can tell he likes the vehicle, and did not necessarily expect to. They're great trucks when running!

I love mine every time I drive them, and admire the body lines all the time. I've always thought the RRC Soft Dash, D1, and D2 dash looked extremely refined/modern when new & I still think it's one of the best looking dashes in an SUV today. I'm happy to be driving something that is truly unique and full of heritage.
