do you prefer ATF or PS fluid in your ACE system?

"Officially" you need to use the Land Rover ACE fluid, however a synthetic PS fluid works just fine(and cheaper!).

Yes you must use Power steering fluid.

I always use PS fluid. I think that i will be doing away with ACE though... anyone interested?

Yep, PS fluid for me too. I just wanted to know if anyone had tried anything else.

Are you going to flush the system, if so, you'll need 4 to 5 quarts of P/S fluid and 1 bottle of Lucas power steering additive that will go along way towards keeping it happy.
