Thought of the Day: Why not keep a Master Annotated RAV on this forum?
I regularly annotate my pdf copy of the RAV with comments, notes etc. every time I work on something.
Things I annotate into my copy of the RAV include parts (for example, this morning I added the 617 centering bearing to the prop shaft section of my RAV), URLs to other useful information/instructions/videos, references that should be in the RAV but aren't (for example, that the SAI pump relay is in socket number 6 in the engine fuse box), etc.
This got me to thinking: why don't we maintain a "master" RAV on this forum with everyone's collective wisdom in it?
Not sure how we would do that (you would need a process to check out the master to add a comment, then check it back in), but I am sure that someone smarter than me can figure that out.
Once someone figures out a process herein, I would be happy to offer my marked-up RAV as the seed document to get this started.

Who would validate that the annotations are accurate? Who would police them? The admins? That would just create another burden for them, and I presume they are unpaid and volunteer their time in the role.
There's a lot of good advice on this forum but a lot of snake oil finds its way in too.
