Default Throttle cable question

How tight should the cable be where they hook onto the butterfly/intake?

When I was doing my coolant change I noticed they seem to have a lot of slack in them (both the pedal and the cruise). The cable closest to the front has so much slack I can actually hook the slack around the A/C line bolt on the compressor. Seems odd.

So how tight should they be and should I just adjust them at the threaded, double nut they mount to? (sorry I don't know what it's called)

Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what is recommended, but I took up a little slack in mine a few months ago.

The cable adjustment specifications for the throttle cable and for the cruise control cable are in the RAVE service manual.

the only and most disgusting but delicious food in France is ............... snails in garlic I even eat the occasional McDo for a change.

Of course, then we have the eco to55ers to contend with ............... France to outline measures to discourage use of diesel cars - The Connexion
