Default tick tick

Hey guys I noticed today that my car was making a ticking noise from what seemed to be under the driver's side seat. I noticed it when I pulled into a toll booth. Anyway I got it home and could not really pinpoint where it was coming from. The strange thing is is that the noise continued after I shut the car off. It remained on for i would guess would be about 5 minutes. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks

Get under the trk with a small hammer, bang on the catalitic converters and see if they rattle. If they do you need new cats.
