Tick tick?
What do you guys think I looked at a 98 disco with 103,000 today 40ft away looked like my new disco it was 3" lift big tires and a strait body but up close noticable oil drips under the moter and trans dif etc.. So the guy charged the batt and had me start it fist thing I noticed was a ticking sound the guy said it was just knocking becouse all the oil had drained to the bottom of the moter but after 5 min it was still ticking? It wasnt till dinner tonight that I relized it could be a vacuum leak it sounded like it was coming from the belt area What els could it be and how much if you know?

If you have not purchased it I would not. I bought one with 50k miles on it. I got it very cheap because it had a slight tick to it. I bought it cheap thinking it would be an easy fix. I flushed the old oil out and filled it with fresh oil and the oil pressure light came on. COme to find out the original owner had taken it to Jiffy Lube since he bought it and they used Pennzoil 20W50! Needless to say oil pump was shot as was the whole bottom end. In the end I had to remove the motor and rebuild it. Oil pump is crazy expensive. In the end it was worth it for me but I only paid $1000 for mine and put another $1400 in the engine (counting a shortblock that I went ahead and rebuilt). This may not be the case but just an FYI

I would bet that the tick is from the top end. The rocker shafts get clogged pretty easily.
The CDL light should not be lit unless it is engaged. It shouldn't be briven on pavement with it engaged. If it has for a long period of time, you will be looking at loosing a diff or transfer case soon. It is really hard on the driveline. The little shifter should move from left to right. To the left is locked.
Test drive it again, and go to a parts house and have the codes read there.

Ok, so the CDL light is on, look under the truck, is the front driveshaft gone?
I am betting a oil change will solve the lifter noise.
The ABS light being on is very common on DI's, just pull the ABS fuse from under the hood.
As for the check engine light, you need to have the codes read.
azazel-20w50 had absolutly nothing to do with your engine going south.
