I can just get the Braided kit from AB. but if i can get the same thing from this site, i'd rather add it on because of free shipping.

If you plan on any real off roading dont go with the drilled and slotted rotors, they will fill with mud and throw off your wheel balance. Buy the braided brake lines for the free shipping and hang onto them until you do your lift.

Thanks for asking this. I'll butt in a bit if you don't mind, for I'll have to start considering brakes also probably by the end of the year. So spike what are the best applications for the D1, and the D2. As I drive the later, and my Discovery 2has never seen the 3 amigos and the last thing I want, is them to show up due to a bad brake choice.

Honestly, I dont know. I have yet to put brakes on mine.LR uses solid rotors, I presume so that they dont fill with mud, after all these trks were born for the jungle. Lockheed is OEM. Thats all I got, sorry I dont know more. Just pay extra for the good low dust pads.

Decided to go with the kit from AB. If i go 2" longer for raised, will it get in the way? I dont want to buy 2 kits, if its bad to get the 2" now when i dont have a lift, i'll put it off

If you go RTE (for the lift), I'd buy the extended brake lines from Steve at the same time.
