Default Tire Question

The '03 disco I just purchased has pretty good tread on the front tires but GREAT tread on the rear tires. Should I swap tires to give more traction to the "turning" wheels or leave them as is.

vehicle will be for city transportation and weekend beach/hill country trips.

thanks

Always rotate every 7500 miles to get the most from your tires. I would put the better tire up front.

That's what I assumed. Is it a 50-50 power distribution between front and rear since it's a true 4X4?
