Tire time | 04 disco
Hi Guys,
I just wanted to get your opinions on what tires you recommend for the disco. I don't have a lift kit or anything. Virtually stock ride height, I want an all season tire for all terrain.
What are your ideas. Currently running Michelin Latitude's.

Well tire choice this time of year should be decided by typical driving conditions. Some tires are pretty good in snow, but generally all-terrains aren't very good in any season specifically. Based on where you are, I'm assuming you get a good amount of snow? Do you have 16" or 18" wheels?
I heard good things about the Cooper Discovery Plus... 60K warranty ...but they were hard to find in my area.
I ended up with the Toyo Open Country A/T Plus. Costs a little more, but well worth it. Quiet, supple, great on corner. I do a little ocassional light off-roading. Can't wait to try them out.

I believe I have the standard 16" wheels! I would have to check I dont have the truck in front of me at the moment. Just sitting in the office! They are the stock 5 start wheels that came with the truck. We do get a good amount of snow from time to time yes!
If you plan on getting an all terrain(I always suggest 1 set for summer, 1 set for winter) try to purchase one highly regarded on ice/snow. The problem is that the better it is for snow and ice, the more it'll wear because the compound is always softer.
The BFG Commercial traction T/A is a great tire, and does very well off road as well.
