Being 18" rims your choices are very limited.

What type of wheeling are you wanting to do?
18" wheels are about the worst you can use off road due to their side wall weakness, I would highly suggest you trade someone for a set of 16" wheels and then lets talk about a specific tire and tread design.

FYI, stock 16 inch rims come up alot on Ebay as so many folks seem to switch to the 18's. If you canfind them within driving range you save on shipping as well.

I agree, go with 16" wheels if you possibly can. If you do choose to stick with the 18" wheels, I had really good luck with the Toyo Open Country ATs that I had when I had 18" wheels. They did great on dirt roads, washboard, etc...plus were quiet and handled well on the highway. Never did any real trail work with them.

I have seen plenty of 18" wheels out on trails, they preformed just as good. The main problem is selection.
Search for General Grabbers and BFG's they make good off raod tires with 18" selections.

Thanks for all the info
I think I may get some 18" for everyday and then look for some 16" and put a more aggressive tire on it to go wheeling because I wont be going that often and rather have something quite and smooth for everyday.

thanks again
Mark
