Default Tires! None found!

I am looking for an aggressive tire, either AT or MT. I am running 2008 range rover sport wheels and cannot find anything in 255/55/19 or 255/60/19, only winter tires.
Can anyone direct me to a company that makes a 19' tires with an aggressive tread?

Good luck, I had a hell of a time trying to find aggressiveish tires in 255/60/18 that were in my price range. I ended up going with a set of Hankook Dynapro's.

You'll love the Hankooks... for about the first 15k miles. After that, they get very noisy and lots of vibration- in spite of being rotated every 5k. Now I just wish they'd wear out so I could justify buying something else!

A friend has BFG Mud Terrains that ride better than my Hankook Dynapros do now!

These are all great suggestions except that both companies do not sell any tires that come in 19's which is a huge problem. So far the only options I have are Pirelli ATR and some winter tires.

Look for a "Wild Country" manufactured by Cooper but not branded on the sidewall. You may have to ask at a tire counter. My girlfriends father has 19s on his Durango which are proabably 9" wide rims like our rims on Discovery's. Nice aggressive tread rolls smooth and are quiet on the highway.

Go to the Tire Rack or Discount Tire and see what they show on their site.

that's because no one off roads with 19" rims....the market does not lie lol

If you really want off road it, It would be easier for you to drop the rim size to 15 or 16, that would open the door entirely to AT MT tire options...

just my .02

if you want to stick with a 19 rim, here are some decent options

http://www.tiresdirect.net/TOYO_Open..._P4411C203.cfm

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Those prices are ridulous though...you can get that same Pirelli tire in a 255/70/16 for 120 bucks cheaper...lol

drop the rim size.

If you want sexy wheels and at least a handful of decent tire choices, sell your 19" and get some 18" wheel. Or, keep your 19" wheels with a good street tire and then pick up a 2nd set in 16" that you can shod with something aggressive. You can get 16" and 18" wheels dirt cheap, I actually got a full set of 16" "mirage" wheels for FREE from a buddy. Of course, the Mirage might just be my least-favorite LR wheel, but they're still going to look sweet painted black and with super-swampers on them!

You are going to be very hard pressed to find a mean looking tire for your mall crawler.
19" tires are not meant for off roading so no one is going to make a mean looking tire for that sized rim.
Not everyone off roads and thats fine, but your tire shopping just got pricier and harder.

Yeah, def upgrade to 18"s or even better, 16"s if you want to actually use your tires for off roading.

Are you going for looks only or do you want performance as well??
