I'm running Toyo Open Country A/T. Unfortunately the previous owner had them siped, so it's tough to say how they'd operate without that modification. Overall they seem to track well, are fairly quiet, and perform well in the rain and snow I've encountered. The few trips I've taken into the backcountry indicate they're a little squirrely in the mud, but perform as expected from a street tire in rocks.

I had those on my 2001 Montero after the OEM tires wore out, they were cheap price wise but a GREAT all around tire.
EXCELLENT in the snow but only lasted 40k or so.

yeah for $120 a pop I am gonna order them soon as some tax refund arrives.

2 of my friends in the neighborhood drive 250 power strokes, they have the toyos, 1 has the open country AT, the other the open country MT.

I would get something better but I am on a tight budget, planning a family trip to disney world this summer....and that is not going to be cheap LOL

I just picked up a set of 265/75/16 michlin LTX with 50% tread for $130. I think they look great on the rover. I personally like the 'tire stuffed under fender' look..I know this limits flex off-road but the DII is my daily driver now and will see only limited wheeling on camping trips.
