Default Toddco 3" suspension lift

I am putting on a toddco 3" suspension lift on my 99' disco 2. I was wondering what size tire would look and function best. I am getting the Dick Cepek fun Country's.

Man, run whatever you want! LOL There's a million-bajillion tire threads. 16" or 18" wheel? Most guys run 265/75/16 or 235/85/16. Those are both basically 32" tires. You can probably get away with 33" on a 3" lift, but I still wouldn't go much more than 10" wide.

Very interesting....A/B told me that their 2" Ol' Man Emu's would accommodate 33X12.50's>>>I was wondering...where they were supposed to go in upward travel...

LOL hope you enjoy rubbing! 12.5 on the "2" inch lift will definitely rub.

Do yourself a favor and have a look at replacing and r-gearing your diffs. The extra load you are putting on these factory diffs will shred the internals. If you are going to a 3" lift you must plan on being off road and rocky. Call Bill at Great Basin Rover, he is outside of Salt Lake. Have him build you a set of lockers along with the upgraded gearing to 4:11 up from our factory 3:54. You will have more fun and be a lot safer regardless of final size tire.

x2, mine blew up in Moab. You don't want that to happen.

Im running stock 16in wheels. will I also need the castor correcting arms for the 3in lift on the front and the rear. I have the break lines and built a 3in spacer for the cross bar under the front drive shaft. Just wondering how big of a tire could I go with the stock 16in wheels.

You should get castor correcting arms if you want to do it correctly. 32-33" tires will fit, but you'll want to re-gear for more power.

If you do any off roading you'll want diffs and axles, but diffs first. I've shattered a diff with 31.5"s barely beating on it.

You'll want to get the extended watts linkage if you want ANY articulation.

Just gearing is all I need then. I have HD axles already. I will probably go with the 33" tires. I'm gonna fab up some rock sliders too.
