The 'S' value is an EC term that typically refers to the tongue weight. See below...
In N.A., DII's are fitted with a Class III 2" receiver if factory supplied. A Class III hitchs are rated for 5000 lb. gross trailer weight (~2268 kg) and a 500 lb. tongue weight (~227 kg).
