Default Traction Control, Hill Descent Control, SRS and ABS light

These lights keep coming up on the dash, yet everything seems fine. Its my daily driver and I havent had any issues. Is there a sensor intertwined with these?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

you need to get your ABS codes read by a specialized ABS scanner, either an indie LR shop or buy yourself an ABS Amigo. its a common problem do a search on the forum for "three amigos"

the SRS light is a different problem. you need an SRS specific scanner for that. After 8 years your SRS system needs maitenance could be somehting as simple as a ground short in the seat belt pre-tensioner or something more like an airbag that needs to be replaced. again hit an indie LR shop so you can figure out the problem.

do a search or look for any posts with the "3 amigos" in them. I have been working on the same problem and its common to say the least. Yes they are all related as they all use the ABS system so when one part of the system has an issue you get all 3 lights.
You'll need to get a your abs scanned to know what the codes are to start to trouble shoot it.

Some fixes are easy some are harder than others but the guys on this board can talk you though just about anything.

I got the exact problem these past couple of weeks (I only drive on weekends). Usually I get the 3 amigos, whih go away after I turn off the engine and restart some time later. Occasionally the SRS goes on, with or wthout the amigos in tow. Wondering could all 4 lights be related (i.e. caused by the same problem) or is it just coincidence that the amigos and the srs problems are happening at the same time? Gamecockdisco, how did yours turn out in the end?

Your SRS light is totally separate from your 3 amigos.

For the SRS light take the passenger seatbelt and buckle/unbuckle it 15-20 times and see fi that turns the light off.
There are contacts inside the buckle and if they get dirty (from lack of use for example) they can set off the SRS warning light.
Another common one is a loose/dirty wire harness on the seatbelt pretensioner.
That is the thing on the floor that the seatbelt comes out of.

As for the 3 amigos, you need to take it to a dealer to get the codes read.
