RE: trails in south alabama
Have you searched your states web site? MI has a trail guide on the DNR web page.

There aren't too many trails in south Alabama that are legal. You may find a couple here or there but nothing really good. But just across the border in Florida is Eglin AFB with a ton of trail that are legal as long as you have the required permit. We are going on July 19th. Come with us. Can you post a picture of your truck?

yea that is cool...im trying to upload a picture but my file sizes are to big...ill have to take some more pictures in a lower resolution. Nice vehicles though i havnt done much of anything to mine yet looking for new tires right now i have 18" rims so its making it difficult, i found one set that i like but i want to take it on a trail to see if i want to lift it or not.... just want to figure out what i can do.....are the trails at Eglin stock friendly?

If you open a www.photobucket.com account you can upload and then resize your photos for the forum.
Anf FYI, the stock Disco IS the most capable off road trk you can buy new. You could drive it around the world stock, there is nothing wrong with moding your trk, but most underestimate what their Land Rover will do with street cloths.

I agree with Spike555. The stock Disco will usually make modified vehicles look bad on a trail when you show up on street tires and do just about everything they can do. The trails at Eglin are as easy or as hard as you want to make them. Just about every obstacle has a way around in case of clearance issues. I do know of a few size options for your 18" wheels. One of my techs has a 2002 with 18's that hasa nice set of Bridgestones on it.I'll email you a picture.
