I also don't care for the "PM me your number" routine but the phone is a great way to communicate more individual specific information. Typing out a whole conversation would be tiresome. The phone thing would be fine of there was a follow up post at some point with at least a simplified version of the answer. More than once I've found a great thread that seems to be what I'm interested in that ends with "PM me your phone number" and I'm left hanging.

But he is not always right and people are just way to willing to do anything and everything he says no matter what.
But yes, there is no substitute for age.

Hi, I know it has been awhile since anybody has post to this thread but I am having the same problem with my DII. I am not sure if I am just misunderstanding something here, which is most likely the case. I tried the solution you mentioned but it seems my DII does not have the trim peice on the shift ****. I pulled the shift **** off to see if I could find the bolt you were referring to, but when I pull it off there is just a long peice of plastic that seems to be some kind of pull. I would apprecaite any help, thanks.
