Default Tranmission fill port

I am trying to add transmission fluid to a 2004 Land Rover Discovery. I can find the plug on the transfer case where you can add fluid, but I cannot seem to find the plug on the side of the transmission where fluid is added. Any advice. I'm sure there is a seperate fill plug for the transfer case and the transmission but maybe I am wrong?

It's on the side of the transmission pan. Look again, it's very easy to spot.

Filling the tranny is a 2 step process, fill as much into the apn as you can, reinstall the fill plug, start the engine, shift drive to reverse 3 times, put back in park and with the engine still running go add as much ATF as you can get in, usually around 5 plus quarts total.

Do yourself a favor and get a gear oil pump from Napa or wherever. The one I got was $8 and it beats the alternative.
