Default Tranny Gear Selector Interlock Solenoid Help

I have re-installed my center console, I took apart center console so I access my cdl. so, everything is re-installed and the thing is that the transmission gear selector interlock solenoid is not unlocking ....so, I cant get it out of park..... unless I push it in. My question is, does the solenoid need to be reset? because I did unplug to get to the cdl. if i can reset how should i reset this solenoid?

Do you mean the e-brake light or on gear selector light?

You may also have distrurbed the attached connector, which is a ground header. There is a short wire to frame ground near the connector. Also check fuse 25 under dash.

The interlock works off the brake light switch, one of the first things I would check is to make sure your rear brake lights are working. If they are then check for power at the solenoid (when the brake pedal is pressed). You will need a meter or test light to do that.
