Default Trans Temp Light On - wont go away

Changed transmission fluid + transfer case + diff fluids front and rear. Replaced transmission cooler sensor with new. Cleaned trans case sensor with MAF spray. Red light still comes on. Am afraid to drive it. Not sure if the trans fluid is filling the cooler. What could be causing this light to come on?

A bad temp switch. I just replaced my stock one in the cooler with a glowshift gauge. The temps never read above 180F

Does the light come on and stay on as soon as you turn the key or does it come on after you've been running for a little bit

Temp switch on the cooler? Ya I replaced that with new. There is another temp switch on the trans yea?

Is the whole trans cooler supposed to be full or just up to where the lines are?

That circuit has 2 temp switches, in the cooler and in the transfer case. If you replaced one it could be the other. When the light come on park and unplug each sensor to see which one turns the light off.

I'll replace that sensor on the transfer case. It could be the problem. You know what the correct part number is for that? I hope this solves it.

Before throwing money at it, unplug it to see if it makes the light go out, then CHECK your T-case fluid level. I do not know the part number right off.
