Don't remove the case, just swap the front output housing. Much less bench-pressing effort if you're working on the ground. I did this a few weeks ago on my '03, and it took all of 3.5 hours, including console/shifter removal, etc. Though I have done it several times years ago. Also, on an '03, you don't need to swap out the actual center diff itself. Leave the gears and high-low shifter in the T-case and just swap the aluminum housing. Easy job.
