I tried a search regarding this but I couldn't find anything. My 2004 has a rotted frame. Shocker, I know. The driveline is working great though. I have a lead on a couple of D2's with bad engines and decent frames so I'm considering swapping my driveline. One of the possibilities is a 2002. My question is, can I swap the 4HP-24 into this truck? I know I can change the settings in the ECU to work with a 4.6 but I'm not sure if the 4HP-24 can be controlled with the transmission control unit in the 2002. If not, can that be easily swapped from the 2004 to the 2002?
