Default Transmission D1

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum, but long time Disco owner. It seems that at times when I shift into reverse it does not seem to be engaged and seems to be slipping. Any one encounter this? thanks joverrover

How often do you service the tranny?
What year is your truck and how many miles on it?

So, I got the mileage, how often do you service it, by mileage.
Remember the older a tranny gets the more frequently it must be serviced.
Don't try and flush it again, it is too old and may fail, change the fluid and add a bottle of Lucas trannt additive to see if you can slowly clean up the problem.

I keep getting messages from you but you are not answering my questions. If I can't get info, it is hard to give you much help.
