If this works you're a genius (notwithstanding your own recent transmission and transfer case woes).

Abran, you wrote about using a bug sprayer but I'm not sure just what you mean by that.

Or I might just take it to a shop. It's not rocket science and it's not Rover-specific.
take of the nozzle, bend thetube at the end and have at it.

You pre pressurize the pump before crawling underneath.

"Fancy Version"

But the homemade pump sprayer works like a champ (you can add a gauge if you want) >

how do you tell when it's full?

X2 on the bug sprayer. Just keep an eye on not letting it overfill. Oops!

You watch for red stuff to start running out from under the truck.

Just kidding.

You have one person pouring from above and another person under the truck watching the fill hole.

Laughed my @ss off when I read your description of working with the Lucas Transmission Fix. I changed Trans fluid out in February and the Lucas was like working with super thick molasses. I never cursed so much in my life. Finally wound up laughing at my stupid self, it was February after all. That one bottle of Lucas took more time to get into the tranny than the other 5 bottles combined!

Sorry, sometimes it's nice to know that you aren't the only one out there having fun!
