Default TreadWright Retreaded tires

Any opinions on this? I wish I had seen this sooner. For the price it seems worth it. They say the rubber is 40-60K miles rated. JP Magazine seemed to think highly of them also.

Cheers,

Pete

I've been thinking about the Icelander C/T from these guys.

For the price that the TreadWright guys want for those tires, I see know reason to not give them a try.

i just got one delivered this morning. i cut the sidewall of one of my tires and didnt want to spend another $200+ for a new spare. $100 for one of these shipped sounded good. overall construction looks good. if i ever mount this on the axle, ill let you know how it is haha

The Bridgestone carcase with the MT/R tread is a bit weird to see. How hard is the tread compound compared the the Goodyear version?

Also, what size is that tire?

Cheers,

Pete

its been a few years since the goodyears were new so i dont remember. the tread on the "bridgestone" feels very soft and i dont see it lasting 40-60k miles on a rover. for what i paid, i dont mind. that is a 285/75/16

I am planning to replace my Grabber AT2's with 245/75R16 MT/R tires from Tread Wright. I want the E rating as well as something cheap and effective.

llesra,

Are your other four tires from the same company?

Cheers,

Pete
