tres amigos are on Need Help
I have a 01 DII and a month after we bought it the lights flashed a few times and then stayed on. I have a snap-on code reader and it had a brake issue code. I pulled the tires and found on rear inner pad very low but not yet metal to metal. decided to change the pads and also replaced the rotors as well. The next day I replaced the front pads and had the rotors up there turned. The tres amigos lights have stayed on. I reset all codes and have rechecked for new codes a few weeks later and there are none. I need to reset the tres amigos. Please Help......

I'm not sure if your Snap-on Reader is actually reading the Land Rover ABS codes. You need to look into getting the ABS Amigo or an Autel unit that reads Rover ABS codes. Links below for what you can get. Otherwise you will need to find someone on the forum that lives near you with one or rents one.

Thanks guys.... I have ordered the ABS scanner...can anyone help me with these codes
P0302 - Emission relevant misfire cyl 2 Drive cycle
P1319 - Misfire with Low/Empty Fuel Drive cycle
P1590 - Rough road signal implausible Drive cycle
P0442 - Evaporative control system - small leak detected Drive cycle
We recently bought this Discovery 2 for our daughter to drive and besides the 3 amigos we now have these codes with the service engine light and TC light on on the dash. The service engine light and TC must have come on very close to each other and in the past 200 or so miles. Of course a 17 year old girl does not notice when new lights come on on the dash. Any help would be great.

Where are you located? I'm not familiar with the 3rd code, but the others could be interrelated. Emissions being the common theme, I would recommend a smoke test to see if you have a leak in the vacuum system, either a line or perhaps the evap canister or the gas cap wasn't screwed down tight. A missfire usually leads to a tune up, which is the first thing I do when I buy a car.

I am in Las Vegas NV. I have cleared all the codes and then drove the truck a couple of miles. The P1590 is the only code that came back and at this point it is not a hard code but a possible code. I am researching this code at this point so it can be fixed and I will work on the rest. BTW the gas cap is on correctly and tight. I will take it to do a smoke test if needs be. does anyone know of a way I can do the smoke test myself.

Great news the scanner got here and I was able to get the Christmas tree lights to go out. Below is the report that I got from the scanner.

Looks like the Shuttle valve has been a problem in the past, so my question would be could it just fix itself. My experience as a drivetrain mechanic for 12 years (no Land Rover experience) is that things do not just fix themselves. Any Info would be greatly appreciated.
As for the most current logged faults WOW. So when we bought this hot rod we found the rear brakes were metal to metal. By the way when we found this is also when the lights all came on. I have replaced the rear rotors and pads. Any advice if the problem I fixed could have caused these faults and if I should be looking at changing the sensors on the left and right rear.
Thanks again for all the great help.
