Thanks Mike. I have not read your list but will at some point soon. Funny you mention the front driveshaft as this is the second item on this truck I had to deal with. Transfer case end came apart and broke the side of the trans case of course. We changed out the trans case and installed an aftermarket 1310 series Spicer shaft assembly. I should note my wife and my 17 year old daughter bought this truck while Dad was not in town or we may not have bought it. HAHA Thanks for your help.

Quick question. Seems like the shuttle valve is a huge issue on these D2's. Should I just opt in on the option B repair and get it done. (I can do it myself) Seems like a simple fix and seems like it solves a number of possible issues if not currently present for the future??

Option B is quick and easy. While you are in there you might think about replacing the shuttle valve seals and the shuttle valves as well. Falcon works has the kit. A little expensive for some very small rubber seals, but well worth it in the long run.
