I have a number of trim pieces that are partially coming off due to broken plastic connectors. I am thinking I can just squeeze some heavy duty adhesive behind each piece to hold it in place. Any recommendations on what you might have used to do something similar?

 

Aquaseal. I glued the seat leather, the warping dashboard and a plastic hook of the moonroof screen and all still holds without the slightest signs of failure after one year. The best glue you can get for almost everything, not only for the Rover.

 

Thanks. You think this will hold up for exterior trim? Pretty harsh heat here in florida.

 

Sure. Dashboards here in CA get even a lot hotter. And it's waterproof.

It's urethane glue, there might be other brands available.

 

What trim adhesive do you guys use for the fenders that are glued on?
