Default Troubleshooting help needed after CSS replaced.

Hi there. I have an 04 Discovery with 94K miles on it. After dying on me 2.5 years ago and sitting parked since then, I finally got it looked at and picked it up from the mechanic yesterday. I was told the crank shaft sensor was bad and that was replaced. Oddly enough, it started after that. I also spent and additional $800 flushing all of the engine fluids since it had been sitting for so long. Back when this happened I was at a stop light and the car literally died. Check engine light came on, low throttle and then died. The car would not restart for about 20 min. Then once, restarted I was able to drive it BUT if I went under 30 mph, it would idle/throttle low and die again. It took 3 tries to go 3 miles to get it home. Thought it was either the fuel pump or css. So, after picking it up yesterday and driving the 30 miles home, I figured the css must have been the problem. However, I filled the car up with gas (did this the day it died too) and within 3 miles, it throttled really low again at speeds over 30, made a bunch of clacking sounds like something was going to fall out of the car and when I pressed on the gas pedal, nothing. I pulled over and put it in park and the engine rev'd right up. After some choice words and driving home slowly, I realized it seemed to loose fuel pressure or something around 4th gear (in drive). When I shifted to 3rd (not in drive), no problems at all. I tried 1 and 2 and no problems there either. I drove it in 3 today and the rpm's stayed under 3 but clearly this is an issue that I need fixed. So, I had it towed back to the shop and of course they couldn't replicate it. Put it in drive and went 70 with no hiccups. However he did say a vehicle speed sensor signal error in the engine ecu and a road speed CAN error in the transmission ecu were showing up in the memory. Has anyone else experienced this? How I love this car but gheez..... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
