Default Trunk leaking water...

The last 2 times I've driven through a car wash, I've discovered that everything in the trunk gets soaked. It appears to be coming from the back left corner. Maybe coming from the top left hand corner of the trunk door?

Anyone else had this happen? I've got a few more months on the warranty, so I'm going to call LR tomorrow...

The leak could be coming from the Alpine windows or a plugged drain in the rear sun roof.

Is this common? Somethign easily repairable? Do you think the dealer will have a hard time finding the leak?

I had the extension rails recently installed at the dealer... I wonder if that caused it...?

These leaks are easily found and repaired. Are you seeing any water stains on your headliner that would indicate the direction the water is flowing, are you at all mechanical?
If you want to try and fix this yourself get back to me with your tele number on a private message and I would be glad to call yo and walk you thru it.

Thanks for the reply Mike. The headliner seems dry, which is why I think its coming in from the rear door. I'm going to lay some white paper in the trunk, then drive through the car wash again and see if I can see where its coming from.

I'll get back to you in a day or 2.

Thx,
Steve

Mike,
Just got the car back from the LR dealer today. The left rear alpine window's seal was hosed. They called a glass company and replaced the seal. All is well now. Although Ive never heard of a windows seal failing at 30k miles. Ouch!
