Default Turn Signals/Hazards Not Working

The Turn signals/hazards only work when the the front wipers are on medium or higher setting. When the turn signals don't come on they still illuminate on the instrument panel as if the are working fine (no fast blinking). No power at the relays; all bulbs are good. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Hello,

When you say under the steering wheeling are you referring to the fuse box or is there another location?

If you are talking about the ones in the fuse box. I have already replaced them.

Do you have rave for this as there is a detailed write up on the electrical control for the indicators and may help steer you in the right direction. But sound like you are getting a cross feed some where.

Yes I have the diagram. It helped narrow it down It seems with the problem should be somewhere between the header that comes off the BCU and the Fuse Box to include the IDM (theoretically). Does anyone have the complete wiring diagram for the wires that go into the turn signal stalk? This would help. Thanks.

Download the RAVE. It has all the wiring diagrams you are looking for. Another area to check is the headers in the pass footwell behind the blower. I had a few that were corroded creating all sorts of issues.
