Default turn signals and normal light function

Hello, I have a 2003 Discovery II HSE7....normally, when I start up my car and put it in drive, the headlights come on automatically...I've not been able to figure out this functionality but was fine with it I guess...just recently though, I noticed that sometimes its not doing that...additionally, I noticed that its also affecting the turn signals...they wont come on during this same time...when turning the turn signals on, the indicator appears on the dash, but no clicking sound and they dont come on neither front nor back. The front fog lights also will not come on even when turning the head lights on during this timing of failure, the fog lights wont come on either. I figure there is a fuse or regulator issue under the dash but hoped maybe somebody has experienced this also and can tell me. I have not contacted the dealer yet, was trying to avoid a costly repair and do it myself. Appreciate yalls help, Kelly

The day time running light function can be turned on or off by the dealer, it was on, thats why your headlights were coming on when you started the truck.

Where do you live? Is it getting cold there?
