Default TWO amigos!? Dos Equis?

The PO did the wiring bypass thing on the ABS module. Now I'm getting a constant 2 of the three amigos. The TC and HDC but NOT the ABS.
Does this lead me to a more likely solution or place to look or do I really just need to give in and buy a fancy code scanner?

Just by chance, is the bulb in the ABS light burned out?

Need a scanner. Let me see where amigo is. If it has done its duty at its current stop , we can send it your way if you want.

I'm all for tool sharing, I'm in.
The abs bulb works :-)
Or is there a fairly cheap scanner I can just buy that will do more than just the amigos?

icarsoft will do ABS, SLS as well as standard OBDII for $140, I think the amigo reader sells for $100 by its self.

The phantom of the Amigos

IMO only route left is to scan for the codes otherwise it's just guessing. The only possibility I can think of is either the SLABS ECU has gone AWOL or an inline electrical connection is defective.

OK Dusty, joke over, give him back his third Amigo or you'll have to sit on the naughty step
