Hello all. New here.... Have a 99' discovery. The downhill light and the TC lights are always on. No ABS light though. Would this still tie into the same diagnostics for the three amigos? Check engine light has been on... and off... and on... but no ABS light.

I'm new to the Rover Land, but the PO for my D2 just sent me this: Autel AL629 Autolink
I had the three amigos and was able to clear the codes. Honestly I can't imagine owning a LR and not having this.
It reads the Engine, ABS and Auto trans codes.
Get one!

 

Have one on the way along an accugage and some other stuff. Have a lot of time working with cars/trucks/motorcycles but this is my first land rover so yeah. Head gaskets are already done and a bunch of other stuff but clearly that's just the tip of the ice burg

 

Welcome, and yes, your tools and your wallet will get a lot of exercise in the future, but you will love it... Mostly.

 

I'll post some photos of the rig I'm working with now tomorrow or something. Super good jumping off point.
