Default two "future" problems?

hey everyone!

i have two things that are begining to happen...

1.) my driver's side window is making a clunky sound when i roll it down...i figure it is getting real close to coming off the track. is there any preventative maintainence i can do to make sure it doesn't come off the track?

2.) my GF was driving the truck and told me the a/c was not blowing out of the vents. she picked me up at the airport, and we were driving with the a/c on, but there was no air coming out of the vents. it was like it was shut off, even tho the display was on...while we were waiting at a light (in 115+ heat), it just came on. it was so weird, and now the a/c is blowing just fine, i dont get it. has this ever happened before to anyone else?

thanks guys!

1.) The plastic window roller may have killed itself and you will need to open the door trim, remove the regulator/motor assembly and replace the wheel. THere are many ways to replace the wheel.

2.) Wait to see if it happens again.. I haven't experienced that .....

#2...I would wait and see just like Josh said.
Could be the HVAC cluster going bad, could be a bad blend door, could be a bad HVAC fan or fan relay.
Could you hear the fan running? Or was it just quite?

She was just letting you know who is the boss.
But with it being silent then it would be the fan most likely, but I wouldnt worry about it until it becomes a constant problem.

Sounds to me like your HVAC fan is on its way out. That's the only thing that would cause it not to come out of the vents at all. If the A/C compressor was bad or the system needs recharged you would at least get air movement through the vents.

Get under the dash and make sure the connections are clean and tight on the blower.
