Sorry, I have been asking a lot of questions but everyone has been so helpful so I figured I would ask this question as well. I recently put in a terrafirma two-inch lift and I was told by Luck8 that I would be able to put on 285/60R18 and would have perfect clearance, However that is not the case, Now the problem I have is that I am rubbing on the inside. I have attached a photo to show. It only does it when I do three point turns or have to turn really tight. So I know everyone isn't into spacers but I feel like it's my only option unless I replace the wheels. So the question is what size spacers should I get if that is the best solution? What are the best ones to get?

Did someone remove or spin the steering stops all the way in? Terrafirma makes aluminum spacers, but any aluminum spacer that is hub centric will work

 

We did not adjust the steering stops. DO you know what size I should get for this issue?

 

Standard size seems to be 30mm, about 1 1/4"

 

Or you could get one size smaller tires. I've traded tires before when not happy. They may charge you again for mount and balance but that is another option.

 

Or just not crank the wheel all the way. Haha. I normally run pizza cutters for this problem... But they should fit. I think a lot of folks just ignore the rubbing. Do you have a lot of weight in your rig? When I did OME 2" lift, I got the heavy springs to accommodate the weight. Otherwise they sag a bit even though new.

I had the same issue. Added TerraFirma wheel spacers (bought here) and problem resolved.

Pizza cutters are tires that are usually tall and skinny. Something like the Michelin XZL:

There are two sizes of turn stops (longer) ones are supposed to go on D2's equipped with 18inch rims from the factory, and the (shorter) ones are supposed to go on D2's equipped with 16inch rims from the factory.

That isn't a big deal at all. Just get a bolt of the same thread and either use steel spacers or washers to get the exact length you need without rubbing.

 

I dig that look. Where can you get those in the states?
